Typical Indonesian #1

It’s a great great Wednesday for us, meeting ours sister before she off to Portsmouth again to her hometown now; meeting few old friends for a beer. That’s wonderful. And yes, talking about meeting friends and so, we’re used to taste some foods while talking. LOL… Now, I’d like to share Indonesian typical breakfast: Chicken Porridge!!

There are many version of chicken porridge but generally it consists of porridge with shredded chicken, egg and coconut milk based soup. How does it taste?? For me it’s good!! When you got sick or feeling unwell, don’t feel like eating Indonesians are used to eat it so then you have something to chew.

Ok, this chicken porridge is available near to our office, about 5 minutes walk and you’ll have it. It is located in Jalan Raya Puputan Renon, right across the Monument of Bajrasandhi. Want to try? Find Bubur Ayam Pak Lik (psst,… they have other menu too).

Bubur Ayam (Chicken Porridge) at IDR 9’000, hot tea at IDR 4’000

Let’s move!! Hohoho…
